How we got robbed in our sleep, rammed on the highway and escaped the riots in the Dominican Republic
The Dominican Republic wasn’t exactly the classic all-inclusive holiday for us. We rented a car, drove around the island, discovered incredible beaches and places we probably never would have seen on a package holiday — and along the way, had a few experiences we definitely wouldn’t have added to the itinerary ourselves.
One car accident and one robbery later, we certainly had plenty to say about the Dominican Republic.
